Dracōnem is characterised by the way patrons exert their will onto its people, institutions and geography. Gods are the biggest offenders of this, their ancient conflicts having struck and molded the planet into its present outlines. 

Mortals navigate these difficulties with patrons both above and below, and have yet still managed to map these Bright Realms.
