Irelia

Irelia, the Golden Fanged, is the goddess of glory and spoils. Her domain is fame and fortune, especially that which is acquired violently.

Her champions are often gladiators, mercenaries or for-hire militia members. If they can conquer, especially on their own terms, they are a candidate for her championship. Her champions, often called trove breachers, typically are greedy, for glory and/or for gold and treasure, but must always cough up her cut. Trove breachers must relinquish a portion of their ‘harvest’ to their goddess, setting it into the open mouth of the crocodilian sculptures present at all of her shrines. Those who do not are reminded once, but only once. Should they persist in resisting, their championship is revoked, and the goddess marks them for death; a bounty afforded to her most trusted champions, to bring the head and weapon of the offending oathbreaker back to her.

She is the twin sister to Oberon, also known to be the most combative god - willing to be physically violent herself rather than sending her champions to do the dirty work.  She is known to cast curses onto mortals and to place bounties on those who have wronged (or even disrespected) her or her trove breachers.

Depiction

She is depicted as in robes, standing at 9’6”, a golden olive-leaf crown about her head, with small bones tangled into its composition. Golden eyeshadow crests her eyes, alongside golden lips. It’s said that if she places a kiss on the skin of a mortal, a golden impression of her lips stains like lipstick.

Though, sometimes she is depicted as a crocodile with a grey hide, black at her head and along the pointed ridge of her back and gold runes across her scales, or as a golden, spiked snake, settled around the shoulders of her champions, whispering in their ears.
