Oberon

Oberon (O-Bur-On) the Crow God, God of the deal and father of the fae. He’s a tricky type, eyes shifting, a smile always playing on his lips. He moves with swagger and self-assuredness, always improvising with aggravating ease. He has a unique gift from his father, the World-Walker: he is in possession of any and all assets he has and ever will receive as part of a deal. Today, he has a coat he will receive in a deal tomorrow. As such, taking the item seamlessly combines what he has and what he has just received, cancelling them out into one single thing. While he does have champions, he only anoints them as part of contracts. If they would trade something of value to him in return for championship, he would gladly grant it (a worthy deal in his opinion, for he may anoint mortals without cost nor limit). As such, he only revokes his championships in the event the mortal begins to preach unholy rites and attempt to lead a revolt against the Gods - which has happened more than once, frankly.

Oberon is known to be sly and conniving, even having a realm of his own once. It is forgotten now, both to him and to the Bright Realms’ record keeping. Instead, he often chooses to stay in the realm of his twin-sister, Irelia.

Depiction

Oberon wears what one might recognise as a modern-day suit - it is strange and alien to this time period, and he knows not where it came from. He knows only that he will receive it in a deal someday, though he does not realise this will not be for thousands of years. He is well groomed, with a short trimmed beard and moustache and always impeccably styled, slicked-back hair. He stands at 10’.
