Triton

Frighteningly little is known of Triton. She was the Goddess of communication and messages, notes like ‘Kilroy was here’ written into soft clay and long-distance runners moving from tribe to tribe to deliver correspondence were her domain. She herself was the messenger of the Gods, often the one to go between the realms to deliver messages from god to god and from god to man. As such, she spent the most time far and away in the Bright Realms while her divine family only came rarely, especially at her request or alongside her. She became especially close to her father, the World-Walker, because of his profound capabilities for wandering and shifting between the realms. He taught her the bulk of her abilities, often asking to hear of her journeys through the planes while Fulm’rai was yet to form, who would eventually become more similar to his father than Triton. She would go on to steal Rhongomyniad, her father's weapon, and kill him for reasons unknown.

The final blow of her fight with her father took the fight into the Bright Realms, killing her father in front of her Mother before she fled in the commotion. She fled to the Isle of Atlas, establishing the city of North as her home. Humans slowly joined her and they built a community together, over which she guided. They named her the ruler of their hamlet, then town, then city - in their ancient tongue, it meant monarch, but was translated solely to ‘king’ in Elassoren tongue translations.

It is known she returned to the place she struck down her father, and after that, his body was never seen again.

After a hundred years of ruling North, she gave Rhongomyniad to her most trusted mortal companion, who in turn became the first Warden of Rhongomyniad. Neither Triton nor the first Warden understood this would have happened, nor its implications. With it now in safe hands, Triton vanished, never to be seen again.

Depiction

She is not depicted in any way anymore. Though, when she was given a depiction, it was as a woman standing at 7’2”, with long legs meant for running and dark, freckled skin from time in the sun. Her hair was white and so too were her garments, a flowing white waist cape secured to a leather corset so as to not restrict her ability to run.
